Teacher Interview: "Need to make PTA meetings earlier"

N1) Have you been to a PTA meeting at our school?

"No. I haven't had the time."

2) Do you know what the PTA is and does at our school?

"Yes, it seems to do a lot."

3) Shirley Igo, the former National PTA president claims, "Now more than ever, PTA has to be an organization that not only welcomes, but also embraces diversity." Do you feel this is true of the PTA at our school?

"Yes, I think it definitely embraces diversity."

4) What would you like to see happen with the PTA at our school? Do you have any suggestions?

"It would help teachers to have the meetings earlier than 5 or 6pm. We've been at school since at least 7am, and it's hard to stay that late."
